I’ve done work.

2024-now

I was most recently at First Round as VP of Operations & Enablement —  making sure we had the people, processes, and culture to build the best possible product for founders who are just getting started.

2020-2023

I led Operations at Levels, a health tech startup working to solve the metabolic health crisis using bio-wearables. I was responsible for building & scaling the business ops, support, people, finance, and legal functions, and implementing much of our remote & async culture.

2018-2020

I helped build a central ops team for CSS / CloudKitchens, a globally scaling real estate & food delivery business.

2018

Metabolic was a seed stage health tech startup helping people change their habits to avoid chronic disease. I helped stand up early operations as we searched for product-market fit.

2013-2018

I joined a startup called Uber to help build out New York — one of our earliest markets. We worked insanely hard and fast to turn Uber into the reality you know it as today.

As Uber grew from a hundred employees in a handful of cities to thousands of both, I moved to San Francisco to scale global ops functions and touched almost every part of the company until I left in 2018 — from support operations, product, and engineering to comms, policy, brand/marketing, and building out road ops for our self-driving unit.

2011-2012

I was lucky to be the college intern at GroupMe, learning how engineers and product designers work together, how team cultures are formed, and how important and central great customer support can be. GroupMe was acquired by Skype/Microsoft in Summer 2011, and I went back for a short stint in 2012 to help launch GroupMe Experiences.

All along the way, I’ve enjoyed building teams & shaping how companies work by scaling the people, cultures, processes, and operating systems within them.
